Not too long ago I mentioned on twitter and the book of faces that I would be dropping another beat tape this year. For a while I was torn on what the content/vibe should be and what anime series I would base it off of. I sat and pondered, napped, and even watched anime for inspiration. Either the series were too dark, or they were so grand that I felt I wasn’t ready to take on the challenge…then alas I found the perfect anime series to work with. While living in Germany for a couple years I grew fond of watching uncut anime on German MTV. One of the shows that stuck with me the most throughout my childhood/teens was Golden Boy- an anime about a young man named Kintaro who is a free spirit that travels Japan to learns about life after dropping out of Tokyo’s most prestigious colleges, Tokyo College (He dropped out before graduation even though he had enough credits to graduate). What makes this so special is well…it’s 100% for the pervs!!! Every episode has something to do with boob, boobs, butt, sex, penis jokes, and…more sex. This is by far one of the funniest anime series I’ve ever watched…so why not give it a shot? Here’s a preview of the beat tape, “The Ungodly Tutor”

You can expect “Tokyo College Dropout” to be released sometime in June! Right on time for the summer baby!!!

So…I was planning on re-releasing the re-mastered version of The Cherry Blossom Effect: Endless Dream Theory on the 15th for it’s anniversary…BUT a monkey wrench has been thrown in my plans. The artists I wanted to do the cover got swamped with work and couldn’t get it done. Now I have to find another artist to draw it up…OR make one myself. I don’t know how long this will take…So I’ll continue to work on the masters and extra material until I figure something out. Sorry for the wait…sorry to let you guys down. Just think of this as a belated birthday party =) 

Well…as some of you may know from twitter I am going through and re-mastering The Cherry Blossom Effect: Endless Dream Theory…one of my fave solo projects! It will be released on 8/15/2012 to celebrate it’s 1 year anniversary…or…birthday, whichever sounds cooler to you. I’ll throw in some extra goodies…so don’t think it will be the same project with better quality…ok…well…in essence it is…but then it isn’t…cool? Cool!
