“the folks over at Capcom have planned a series of tournaments for Street Fighter’s 25th anniversary that will see players qualify in Street Fighter x Tekken, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the main event in San Francisco, California later this year.

The first of these qualifiers is set to go down in Austin, Texas this weekend. While registration is free, a $20 registration fee is required for each game in order to reserve your spot. This money will be refunded when you show up at the tournament. Each bracket will be capped at 256 participants, so be sure register as soon as possible so you don’t miss out.
